Getting Started
Reap the Rewards of Managed Print Solutions
It all begins with our Print Environment Assessment. We’ll determine the cost of operating your current printers, copiers, and fax machines - and how efficiently they serve the needs of your organization.
Our assessment and analysis of your printing environment will identify:
- Printing devices and page counts
- Usage trends and redundancies
- Operational costs for specific devices
- Device selection and placement based on utilization
- Opportunities for consolidation
The Print Environment Assessment Process
Step 1: Assess your current print environment
To get a “big picture” perspective on your operational and printing needs, our experts will consider the layout of your office, the size of your staff, and other logistical factors, and collect data and figures from your current printing devices.
The Datarite Managed Print Solutions team will collect:
- An inventory of your current devices
- Figures from the Data Collection Application (DCA), which provides page count information and device usage
- Additional reports from the DCA that enable us to view, analyze, and interpret printing trends
Step 2: Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement
Once we've analyzed your current printing environment, we'll provide recommendations we believe would best service your business. These recommendations may include:
- Device consolidation and redeployment
- Selective replacement of devices to optimize capabilities and utilization
- Options for increasing productivity and efficiency and minimizing printing costs and waste
- Potential for future consolidation and optimization strategies
Step 3: Optimize and manage your print environment
Finally, we’ll implement a cohesive, intelligent printing system and management tools to optimize your business efficiency. Our experts will install new technology if required and create reliable, scalable systems to manage day-to-day printing and imaging.
Using our Data Collection Application, we’ll monitor your printing devices and provide service, parts, and supplies when and where you need them - often before you or your staff realizes there's a problem. Keeping track of your usage and repair needs enables us to recommend changes and continuous improvements - optimizing your total printing environment.
